“Jeg er sgu’ min egen” (“Damn, I am on my own") - The great, vibrantly colourful scenography with inspiration from the 1960s and the Danish designed Verner Panton set the stage for the story of Annie, who hangs her hat where she wishes. The play was based on the classic film ‘Jeg er sgu min egen’ (‘Damn, I am on my own’) from 1967, written by Klaus Rifbjerg and music by Bent Fabricius Bjerre. The vertical scenography with its many holes, stairways and outcroppings changed expressions and colours through light design, and the play became a visually saturating experience for the audience“

Behind the scenes
The many sheets with circular holes were created using CNC milling, and were then assembled with scenography elements at the Nørrebro Theatre workshop.
Bulletin board from the drawing studio with inspirational pictures, mood boards and costume drawings.
The sewing studio at Nørrebro Theatre produced a large number of costumes based on Torden & Lynild’s design. Among other things, here is an oversized baker’s hat and a tie with collars.
