This exhibition concept and visuals were developed for The Historical Museum of Vendsyssel, who wants to create a new experience for the visitors in their unique historical setting. The project includes a large restoration of the museum’s beautiful, old buildings and the interior of the historical city hall, which will contain the new café, shop, and ticket sales. The goal of the prospectus is to explain and illustrate the vision of the new museum venue and support the fundraising process.

The new exhibitions will tell the story of the citizens of Vendsyssel from the olden days up until today. The lives of the people from Vendsyssel have been though, troublesome and part of a constant battle with and against nature, which made their everyday lives rough. The Historical Museum of Vendsyssel has a vivid collection of stories about living in region where nature has ruled and influenced the daily life and business.

Torden & Lynild facilitated the entire process from the beginning to the end, including treatment of the core stories, creating an initial concept, creating the visualizations for each theme and managing the final setup of the prospectus.

This prospectus was developed after being ordered from The Historical Museum of Vendsyssel, who wishes to create a new experience for the visitors of their unique historical framework. The project includes a large repair of the museum’s beautiful older buildings and interior design of the cities old city hall, which will contain the museum’s new café, shop and ticket sales. The goal of the prospectus is to communicate the vision of the new museum and to support the fundraising process.
