The gorgeous old gun hall has housed cannons and vehicles ever since it was completed in 1604 – built at the decree of Christian IV Eight stories about war are presented in this new exhibition. This includes the Battle of Heligoland, nuclear war in Denmark and the great defeat in 1864. Torden & Lynild developed a strong visual frame for each story, and the scenographies comprise a modern counterpart to the beautiful historical framing.
