The play Amandaværelset (Amanda's Room) was equal parts haunted house, theatre play and total scenographic experience. With a script by Jokum Rohde and sound design by Steen Jørgensen (Sort Sol). The audience was given black overcoats and pig masks and were led around the labyrinthine horror story. The play revolved around a failed police commissioner, who futilely attempts to solve the murder of a little girl. The scenography consisted of six 360-degree scenographed rooms, including a theatre, a laboratory and an abandoned house.
Torden & Lynild received the Reumert Prize of the Year 2015 in the category for Scenography of the Year for the play.

Behind the scenes

The enormous scenography was constructed in an approximately 600-m2 hall at Refshaleøen. This is the sketch model with room distribution for the 8 conjoined mise-en-scènes that the audience was guided through. Along the way, they lost their sense of direction, as there were false doors and walls that could be opened and closed.
