The library in Hvidovre wanted a redesign of their children's library with space for reading and playing. Torden & Lynild developed the idea of using some of Hvidovre's local landmarks for the playful design. The watertower of Hvidovre, Avedøre powerplant with it’s characteristic shape, the aircraft hangars and the local historic fortifications are all to be found here, now filled with books as well as nooks and corners comfy to sit and read in.
